We have found Ubiquiti products to be some of the best on the market, providing robust equipment at a reasonable price. And whilst there is other hardware available for less, what adds to the value of Ubiquiti’s equipment is their Unifi Network Controller application.
Unifi Controller is an easy-to-use platform providing a centralised management system for your network devices and providing an overview of all clients connected to your network. Some of it’s features that have been more popularly requested recently, is their instant Guest Hotspot system, alongside Hotspot Manager. This function within Unifi Controller allows secure Guest Networks to be easily setup and managed from one interface, and provides a tonne of configuration options, such as customisable login portals, Facebook authentication, pay-to-access logon, and many others.
