Centralized App Management
Application Manager is our centralized web application management tool, designed to provide an online dashboard for monitoring all of our bespoke web applications. Application Manager is designed to work autonomously with our other web applications, hosted in various different places across the web.
Autonomously Collate Statistics
Application Manager handles data from our other web applications autonomously. Using it’s in-built authentication system, application manager verifies the legitimacy of each data source before processing. Once processed, the type of web application, application owner, application version information, and application usage statistics are all organised and stored, with overall statistics regenerated for future retrieval.
Autonomously Attribute Data
Application Manager can automatically determine the origins of all data received and make determination as to who the owner of that remote web application and it’s data is, based on the new, and previous data received. All data logged into Application Manager is attributed to an owner, allowing the owners of any remote applications to obtain and access their statistical data upon request.
Generate Instant Reports
Application Manager acts as our online dashboard, providing an overview of many of our bespoke web applications and their current status. Application Manager generates a wide variety of reports instantly, allowing for a clear and up-to-date picture of how different copies of our apps are performing.
Allow Remote Statistics Access
Application Manager not only receives data but can autonomously handle requests for it’s data too. Data requests are authenticated, then processed; and required data is returned to the calling application; all without any need for intervention. An example of this is our custom WordPress theme which offers Application Manager integration and allows us to display dynamic figures like the ones below.
Extensive Knowledgebase
Whilst Application Manager was first built as an in-house tool for us here at 21st Webb; the number of different moving parts, in-built functions and other integrations lead to the writing of an extensive knowledgebase.
